Oh god yes. Though I'll make mine a coupe. The cool thing about these vettes is that the wide variety of engines means you can have it any way you like. High and low strung engines in big and small block dimensions. After years of fiddling with old testy engines, I want my 'Vette to be a low-strung 327 with a big four barrel. The big-blocks are cool but I would want to drive one of these on trips and they overheat very easily.

then either the 365 or 350hp motors are the way to go. the 350 is better for driving since it has a hydraulic cam than the solid lifter in the 365hp. the 390 427 big blocks were a good cruising motor also the 400hp was good but it had the tri power instead of a 4 barrel.

The c2 vettes are wonderful cars, but if it was between this and a shelby mustang of the same vintage, I would probably take the mustang.

I just watched an episode of Fantomworks on Velocity (TV channel) where they made a lift off split window coupe top for a convertible C2 in a gorgeous red. It was pretty awesome. You can't help but love these cars.

I love this generation 'Vette in that color scheme. So Mach-5ey.
